Andrew Lloyd-Webber

Random excerpts from Starlight Express.

"Rusty you're blind, open your mind
...are you real?, yes or no?
...I must find Pearl, I must find Pearl...
Starlight Express...
Rolling Stock!, Ro-olling Stock!"

etc.

It's horrific, like watching a train-wreck in slow motion, random snippits of the worlds worse tunes crashing into each other.

Neilssen

Thank the Lord it's not "I can't liiive, if living is without yooo-oo oo", rather the theme from Midnight Cowboy.

I'm not absolutely sure what it's called but it might be the same as the lyric I keep hearing

"
Everybody's talking at me
I can't hear a word they're saying,
Only the echoes of my mind.
"

Two songs fighting again.

I have a situation in the office which I am on top of but its a serious one, everytime my higher brain is focussed on it, my lower brain serves up Bud Flannigan singing "run rabbit run rabbit run run run"

But this is fighting for air against "here I am again on my own, going down the only road i've ever known"

Yesterday I found out my myers brigs type is ENTJ - and at times of pressure that's what I revert to. I am beginning to think my lower brain is trying to tell me something.

M.A.S.H.

"Through early morning mists I see..."

altogether now:

"Suicide is painless, it brings on many changes"

or if you're a Barron Knights fan...

"National Health is painless..."

Not so much in tune with the Barron Knights today.

Eurovision Classic...

Why? Who knows.

Johnny Logan.

"I've been waiting, such a long time..."

"But you're not here... What's another year..."

Just those two snippets on replay, plus the background singers chiming in with "... for someone who is getting used to be-ing a-lone"

Eh?

Much quietness observed over the bank holiday weekend, which was nice.

Today I have mostly been humming the tune to Paddington Bear. Still could be worse, when I mentioned it to Karoona she got wind of the flumps... now that is wierd.
